Out in today’s mail — This is San Francisco

Miroslav Šašek was best known for his children’s books about cities around the world.  The reissue of this 1962 book This is San Francisco is ubiquitous in San Francisco.  I found a tattered old copy, one step away from the recycling bin.  I immediately knew it was meant to be repurposed by collaging the book and turning into mail art to spread a little more San Francisco around the world.
