Miroslav
Šašek was best known for his children’s books about cities around the
world. The reissue of this 1962 book This is San Francisco is ubiquitous in
San Francisco. I found a tattered old
copy, one step away from the recycling bin.
I immediately knew it was meant to be repurposed by collaging the book
and turning into mail art to spread a little more San Francisco around the
world.
