Postal Pugs

About a year ago I responded to a  call for art and mailed my pug-themed mail art to Germany.  I really appreciated the Edition 753 catalog that arrived last week.  And my model, Sammy, was quite pleased with himself.

Mail Art Bocksbeutel

I was excited to see the catalog for the Mail Art Bocksbeutel show waiting for me in my mailbox.  Roland Halbritter and kulturbunt e.V. – Hamelburg have a done a great job packing the 86 pages full of all you need to know about bock bottles and including all the mail art they received.  My piece appears on the page dedicated to artists who used maps in mail art.

Mail Art + Beat Art

Yesterday I had a nice surprise in the mail when I received a catalog for a mail art show I participated in that was held at the Agder Teater in Kristiansand, Norway.  I really appreciate the catalog, as I know how costly it is to both print and mail these.

Details about the show can be found here (in Norwegian).  You can view the entire catalog here online (in English).
